SSF has a lot under construction: lab buildings East of 101, residential projects downtown, warehouse conversions near the airport. All of them have the same problem after 5 p.m. Copper, tools, fixtures and fuel walk off, and the schedule takes the hit.

During work hours, a gate officer checks in subs and deliveries and keeps the log. After hours, we combine overnight guards, random patrol and camera monitoring to fit the phase and the budget. If there’s hot work or an impaired system, fire watch can be added.

Reports go out by email every shift, with photos on any incident, so the super and the owner’s rep see the same thing. Coverage moves with the schedule and runs month to month, so it stops when the job does.
